At PWT we believe our success in special needs transportation has been built one person at a time.

At Pacific Western's Student Transportation Services we urge all our drivers to meet with parents and children with special needs at their home to go over any safety concerns that they may have. Our people are dedicated to ensuring that your child's daily trip to and from school is the safest and most comfortable possible. We start with a modern fleet of school buses. For added security and safety, all of our buses are equipped with two-way radios and buses that transport the medically fragile have cellular phones as well.

PWT's Red Arrow is the only service of its kind in Canada. It is a deluxe motorcoach operation, providing daily scheduled passenger service between Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray. The coaches have unique features such as single row privacy seating, on-board movies, extra wide aisles with executive legroom and footrests. They also have a full service galley, laptop plug-ins as well as a seat reservation system. We are North America's only fully wheelchair accessible scheduled inter-city motor coach service.

The B.C. Northern Health region contracted PWT's B.C. Division to provide transportation for their Travel Services Program called "Northern Health Connections". The B.C. goverment was committed to providing patients in the north with affordable transportation to their specialized medical appointments and is fulfilling that commitment with PWT's custom fitted wheelchair accessible coaches. The program provides both same day short distance service as well as long distance travel to their customers.

PWT's Southland Transportation is a service provider for Access Calgary, the agency responsible for providing transportation services for Calgarians who may not be able to use City Transit and C-trains. They offer a shared-ride, door-to-door service within the Calgary city limits.

Our portfolio uniquely qualifies us to work with school districts, municipalities and health care regions to develop transportation solutions for special needs children or adults.
